Ammerlaan-Sosef

Ammerlaan-Sosef is a modern pot plant nursery located in the heart of Dutch horticulture, the Westland. The company grows Celosia ‘Deep Purple’ Caracas, Primula Sweet Kisses (Touch Me) and Cyclamen, among others. For this innovative cultivation company, we maintain the screen installations at two of their locations.

About this project

The greenhouses are equipped with a double screen system. The upper girder contains a blackout screen, while the lower girder is equipped with a diffuse energy screen. This combination provides optimal control of light, heat and energy efficiency. In addition, the greenhouses are finished all around with blackout roller gables, which provide a complete seal against light and cold. With the new construction of the greenhouses, we were given the additional task of creating compartments using twin facades. These compartments are essential for separating young cultivation, with which the growing conditions for each crop can be optimally tuned. With this approach, Luiten Greenhouses supports Ammerlaan-Sosef in realizing an efficient, sustainable and high-quality growing environment.
