Description
In recent years, we have carried out several projects for Kwekerij Reijm, aimed at improving the growing climate and efficiency of their sites:
Second screen installations: We installed an additional screen installation on a support wire at both locations for better control of light and temperature.
Insect netting: In Zevenhuizen, we installed insect netting to better protect crops from pests.
Nebulization installation: Also in Zevenhuizen, we installed a misting system, which contributes to more stable humidity and an improved growing climate.
Roller gable fabrics: In Berkel and Rodenrijs, we replaced the roller gable fabrics, significantly improving insulation and light sealing.
With these modifications, we support Kwekerij Reijm in their pursuit of sustainable and efficient cultivation processes.
Roots arose from the merger of two family businesses: the Van der Knaap family from Honselersdijk and the Oussoren family from Zevenhuizen. Together they form two modern tomato nurseries, specialized in growing mini-truss tomatoes.
Ammerlaan-Sosef is a modern pot plant nursery located in the heart of Dutch horticulture, the Westland. The company grows Celosia ‘Deep Purple’ Caracas, Primula Sweet Kisses (Touch Me) and Cyclamen, among others. For this innovative cultivation company, we maintain the screen installations at two of their locations.
