Roots Tomato Nurseries

We support these nurseries with the maintenance of their screen installations and glass repairs. In addition, we have made several improvements in recent years:

• Replacement of screen cloths: Old screen cloths were replaced to optimize climate management.
• Second screen installations: We installed additional screen installations on support wires at both locations for greater control over light and energy.
• Insect netting: In Honselersdijk, we installed 8 hectares of insect netting to protect crops from insect pests.

The nurseries use energy screen cloths and lighting screen cloths, achieving an optimal balance between energy savings and light distribution. With our work, we contribute to the sustainable and efficient operations of Roots.
